What if I’m lactose intolerant?
We don't have sugar-free flavors right now, but it's something we're actively exploring because we know many of you are asking for it. Stay tuned, as it is important for us to create new delicious options to satisfy many palates and needs.
Do you have sugar-free flavors?
Some of our flavors and SMiZE Surprizes do have nuts. However, all flavors of SMiZE & DREAM are handmade in our Flavor Studio and served with shared utensils in our shops or produced in a facility that processes all major allergens including: dairy (cow milk), egg, wheat, soy, sesame, peanuts, tree nuts, and coconut, so we cannot guarantee that our ice cream is completely free of any allergens.
Please let your scooper know if you have an allergy or dietary restrictions that we should be concerned about and we will do our absolute best to accommodate. If you have a severe allergy, we strongly recommend NOT eating our products.
Does SMiZE & DREAM contain peanuts and/or tree nuts? Is it made in a facility that processes nuts?
Yes, we do have a few gluten free ice cream flavors and will have many more as we expand our menu. As for our SMiZE SURPRIZES… We do have a gluten-free vegan version at our D.C. Pop-Up!
Does SMiZE & DREAM have any gluten-free flavors?
At SMiZE & DREAM, we don't just churn amazing ice cream; we create lots of handmade mix-ins that will blow your mind. So when you taste our ice cream, we want you to experience a burst of uniqueness in your mouth. Our team is used to Tyra hyping up the process and saying:

How do I know if I’ve found the SMiZE SURPRIZE in my pint?
Ok, so growing up, Tyra and her brother were big fans of Cracker Jack popcorn and Cereal boxes that had prizes hidden in them. And when dreaming of this company, TyTy was like, ‘What if we put prizes in our ice cream?” After realizing that putting a toy in ice cream was kinda cray-cray, she decided to make them edible and super yum. We now call them SMiZE SURPRIZES.
When you grab a scoop at the shop, we’ll crown it with your SURPRIZE right on top. But when you dig into our pints, the adventure goes deeper—a handmade SMiZE SURPRIZE is waiting for you, hidden beneath layers of that creamy goodness. It could be anything from cookie dough to caramel, fudge, or cheesecake—a delightful, yummy reward tucked away. Each SURPRIZE stands for something bigger: GOAL GETTING & DREAM CATCHING. So dig in, baby, and uncover your SMiZE SURPRIZE!
I keep hearing about these “SMiZE SURPRIZES” in your ice cream? What are they exactly? And didn’t you used to call them PRiZES?
We ain’t got time for non-dairy ice cream that tastes, well, all non-dairy-ish. So we worked overtime to bring our creamy, dreamy SMiZE & DREAM taste and texture to our non-dairy flavors. It’s hard to tell they don’t have real milk in ‘em and even fooled Tyra’s dairy-lovin’ Mama!
When Mama Carolyn first tasted it, she yelled, “OMG, This is Non-Dairy???!!!”. So we kinda named it that: This is Non-Dairy???!!!®, with the cute lil’ R with a circle around it and everything. Can’t wait for you to taste it and hear you scream!

Tyra goes to the grocery store and buys 5 pints of other brands of ice cream at a time and can’t wait ‘til SMiZE & DREAM is in the supermarket! Before we do that though, we wanna make sure y’all really are yearning for us to be there. Why? Cuz it's easy to get on the supermarket shelf, but if you don’t sell, it’s hard to get back on it. Can I get SMiZE & DREAM delivered locally?
We started our biz shipping ice cream to people all across the USA and would go “Wow!” seeing your pics of it arriving perfectly frozen at your front door. It’s not fair some people can come to our scoop shop because we’re in their hometown but others can’t, so we will be launching National Shipping again SOON. We’ll announce it on this website, our newsletter, and our social media channels.

I just wanna know...
Mizz TyTy is très involved. She’s the founder of SMiZE & DREAM and spends dang near all her time working on our ice cream company. She wakes up most nights and does something she calls “Sleep Working”, where she’ll conceive a whole strategy and not remember anything until she discovers the whole thought out plan in her notes on her phone in the morning. Tyra’s fave parts of the biz are Branding, Marketing, Strategy and Research & Development. And the team is used to seeing her in her fluffy gray robe on video meetings every day. Boss lady needs to get dressed before work though, right? She tries to but she loves that old robe.
One thing Tyra always says is she doesn’t show enough of how she is working on our biz every day. She keeps saying, “I need to work out loud”, but rarely pulls out cameras to document what she’s doing. But she wants you to go on this journey with her, so we gotta do something about that. She swears she’s gonna try to show you more of her #IceCreamLife. Check Tyra’s instagram right now to see if she is keeping her promise.

Hmmm…maybe. You never know when she will be at our shops. She’s a workaholic and can’t stop/won’t stop working - thinking up new fantastical flavors with our team, traveling the world to expand the brand down under and beyond, and producing dope new TV shows (hurry up, girrrrl, we need more TyTy TV!). But yo, she gets all giddy when she sees y'all striking the fiercest poses with your SMiZE & DREAM! So we can’t promise you’ll see her, but there’s a BIG chance she’ll see YOU if you tag us in your @SMiZEandDREAM pics!
Will I get to meet Tyra?
Ok, the last logo was inspired by Tyra’s family but the matriarch in the middle kept on being confused for Tyra, but it wasn’t. And no matter how many times we said it wasn’t, it was just hard to sink in.
Plus, we started feeling like the vibe was not really what we’re all about. We’ve got edge, we’re poppin’, we want you to feel that energy…so we rebranded. There’s a lot of story into this new logo and brand vibe and we’re not gonna spill all the tea now, but maybe you can start to dissect a bit of it yourself.

What should I wear to your pop-up?
We can’t spill all the tea, but the buzz on the street is our ice cream and SURPRIZES might just unleash your inner Smize superstar! One taste, could have you out here hypnotizing folks with just one look! But beware—those Smize powers are highly contagious. Next thing you know, you’ll have everybody’s eyes locked in permanent Smizing mode! (Is that a bad thing?)
Does your ice cream have superpowers?
Oh, we feel you! If we could, we’d totally set you up in a flavor palace, but let’s be real—there’s just not enough room, plus it’s freezing in here! So think of us as your second home and swing through often.
